We have all gotten to know each other in many situations over the course of our lives and have intuitive impressions of others. However, we often lack a clear system to further deepen these impressions and turn them into something tangible.

Motive typologies help us to quickly gain a clear picture of the strengths and interests of ourselves and others and to actually use this knowledge in our communication and relationships. Our communication becomes much more authentic, powerful, sensitive and persuasive, and solutions that are truly viable emerge in disputes.

Contents:

  • Motive typology: Understanding characteristic attitudes & behavior
  • Analysis skills: recognizing strengths and interests in ourselves and others in everyday life
  • Persuasiveness: using the decisive levers in communication
  • Conflict resolution: recognizing the motives behind objections and criticism and focusing on solutions

Discussions and meetings play a central role in our collaboration. We exchange important information with partners, develop suitable solutions and reach decisions.

However, individual and group discussions often fall short of their potential: topics quickly fray, time gets out of hand and the results are often mediocre in view of the total time invested. For those responsible, this is sometimes not much fun and is particularly bitter when it comes to important topics and a lot of passion is put into the projects.

How can we use our discussion management to shape the exchange in such a way that the discussion is resolved and productive right from the start and everyone participates in a goal-oriented manner? And how can we use effective steering to keep the discussion on track (even in the face of obstacles and disruptions) and lead to clear, binding results?

Contents:

  • Initiating discussions in a goal-oriented manner
  • Keeping the conversation powerfully on track even in the event of disruptions
  • Steering negative contributions back onto a constructive path
  • Ensuring the binding nature of results

The transition from studying to working life is a decisive step in a person's life. In addition to the specialist knowledge acquired during your studies, your personality is crucial for a successful start to your professional life. If you know your own personality, wishes and visions well, you can make a good career choice on this basis. If the personal profile of skills, strengths and weaknesses fits the job well, it is easier to get started. Using the western version of the Ikigai concept, among other things, we look at what leads you to a combination of passion, mission, profession and vocation. Get to know yourself better in this interactive seminar.

In a world of constant change, the ability to innovate and solve complex problems is more important than ever. Design Thinking offers a powerful, counterintuitive approach to tackle challenges and generate new ideas. By embracing the mindset of "fail early and often," you’ll discover how to leverage the power of iterative processes to drive creativity, improve your projects, refine your research, and navigate your entry into the professional world with confidence.

Topics that will be covered are:

  • Understand the Phases of Design Thinking: You’ll explore the core phases of the Design Thinking process—Understand, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test—and how they can help you address and solve complex problems. You’ll learn how to apply these phases to any project, from academic work to professional challenges.
  • Engage in a Design Thinking Sprint: During this intensive, hands-on session, you’ll work through a full "Design Sprint" focused on an individual problem or challenge you are currently facing. By engaging in this process, you’ll gain practical experience in applying Design Thinking techniques, using creativity and iteration to find solutions that truly work.
  • Discover Creative Problem-Solving Techniques: You’ll be introduced to a variety of creative methods designed to spark innovation and encourage out-of-the-box thinking. These playful yet powerful tools will help you approach problems from new angles and uncover fresh solutions.
  • Apply Design Thinking to Personal Challenges: You’ll learn how to apply the methods of Design Thinking to your own personal or academic challenges. Whether you're tackling a research project, career planning, or a specific task, you’ll gain the skills to approach problems systematically and creatively.
  • Adopt the Design Thinking Mindset: At the heart of Design Thinking is the mindset that embraces failure as a learning opportunity. You’ll gain insights into how to reshape your approach to setbacks, using them as stepping stones toward greater success. Curiosity will replace the pursuit of perfection, and you’ll develop the resilience to stay focused on the process of innovation.

By the end of this workshop, you’ll not only have a solid understanding of the Design Thinking approach but also the practical skills to apply it in real-world situations. You’ll leave with a toolkit of creative methods, a growth-focused mindset, and strategies for navigating complex challenges in both personal and professional contexts.
Let's develop the innovative problem-solving skills that will set you apart in your career and empower you to thrive in a constantly evolving world!
